Home Visit

Falling Slowly – Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova (OST – Once)

The training that I have been conducting at work is over. So I applied for a day and a half leave to visit my family in Ilocos. I will be having that trip tonight after work. My last visit was four months ago. I think much has changed. My auntie kept raving how my cousins miss me. Haha, yeah I miss them too. I haven’t shopped for anything to bring home yet. Maybe I won’t, I will just buy some pizza at some fastfood there. I have more than enough to carry already.

So I won’t be around for at least three days. I hope to bring back some good photos during my vacation. I haven’t been posting any photos for the last months so I hope I will have some when I come back.

The Promotion

Nope, not me (hehe), but a friend of mine has been promoted last Monday. So to celebrate the great news, we went to see a movie on that night. He paid for it, of course. Daya nga e, dapat pati dinner libre nya.

Sa Galleria kami tumuloy. Kasama namin si Tope, Tabs and Apple. Pagdating namin dun, Jay bought tickets for Enchanted then he decided to buy himself a new pair of shoes. He eventually bought one from Kickers, at yeah, parehong pareho kami (see earlier post).

Kinulit naming manlibre ng dinner pero ayaw talaga. We ended up having dinner at Burger King at 9PM (10 yung movie). I had fish then lotsa fries *icardio ko na lang*. ><

Then came the movie, oooh the trailers first (nothing much, I can’t even remember some of them), then the movie. The movie was okay. Err, I don’t dig it much though. I don’t know, it’s not that I don’t like it. There were enough stuff to keep you from snoring. And that’s just about it. Aside from that, it’s just ordinary. I heard that most people who watched it really liked it though and they don’t mind watching it again.

Mas naeexcite ako sa Kung Fu Panda. I watched the trailer once online. Basta kung-fu, masaya, hehe.

Past 12 na kami nakarating ng bahay. Sa bahay, uminom pa kami tig-isang SML. Tapos may konting videoke (Magic Sing!). Hehe. Hangang sa ako’y natulog na.

My Newest Pair of Kicks

Hahahay. Last Wednesday, while I was trying my Wade on, there was something weird with how the shoe fit. I found out that may butas na pala. Now I know why Wade shoes are cheap. Parang tinahi on the outside, but you’ll learn later na puro epoxy lang pala. Sucks.

So I had the valid excuse to buy myself a new pair of blacks. Yeah, meet my new babies!

Wednesday night. It was my first time in Trinoma, a new mall in North Ave. I watched Harry Potter with a couple of friends. The mall, it was by far the nicest malls I have been to. There’s a rooftop garden which I think is very well landscaped. The scene however is marred by palabing labing couples. Gah!

The movie was great by the way.
