That Pervy Old Sage

I woke up rather late today at 8 AM. I usually wake up at 6. Two days ago, I started reading Naruto manga online. And yesterday, I got hooked. I slept late last night just to finish the part where Jiraiya died. I can’t wait to see the events in anime which I think won’t be in yet for several months. Naruto’s parents have also been revealed although Naruto fans most likely knew who Naruto’s father is from the start. Well, a confirmation from the sannin’s wouldn’t hurt. I am currently drowned in the battle of the Itachi and Sasuke. I need to continue reading.

Oh yeah, do you know where I can read (without having to download) colored manga online? Thanks!

Finally Connected

Naka internet na kami dito sa province! Yay! Babaw… Hehe.

Just a few hours ago, the setup guys has finally installed our broadband connection. I am only half-happy though. Our PC restarts every time we attempt to download a file. Darn.

Last week kami nag-apply for the broadband connection. It was good timing too because a few days before that day, my aunt from London asked if we can have an internet connection here. Anyway, we applied through an agent — the application was done in our house. It was my mom who dealt with the agent and the forms. I was the one who signed it. We paid.. then my mom started to ask what if naloko kami or something. Just to make sure, I called the agent and asked for their office number here in La Union to verify if he is really an agent (although that would be too late). He gave us a number. I dialled it — it rang, at least it rang… but nobody’s answering. My mom’s suspicions heightened. She was ready to call her friend, a radio reporter in our region, to report the incident but I suggested we try and wait first. We browsed through the yellow pages in the directory and confirmed that the agent gave us the correct number. So we dialled again and again and again until finally somebody answered the phone and confirmed that our suspicions were wrong. Reporting our suspicion to the local radio station would have been embarassing.

Anyway, at least may internet na ngayon dito. Now, who would pay the bills?
