of things unplanned

I felt sick and tired and sleepy and eventually dumb the whole day. I may have slept for more than an hour in the office, i’m not sure. I ate lunch at my seat to fill in the minutes I spent snoring. I didn’t talk much. I wasn’t in the mood to do anything, but I managed to do what I had to do.

I logged out a few minutes before 6 pm. Hmmm, I think I forgot to logout. Anyway, I walked from the office to Megamall to fetch my cellphone I had repaired at some shop (2 months na yun dun and ngayon lang sya naayos). Suck.

So I finally got my cellphone back, although I will not be using it anymore because I bought myself a better one last week. And then, I passed by the Apple shop then (after convincing myself that at least I felt a little hesitation) I went in, and bought myself an iPod. Suck.

It was almost 07.30 pm when I left the mall. It was raining, and I had to wait for another 30 minutes for a ride to Robinson’s. The harder the fx crawled its way to Robinson’s the harder the rain poured that by the time it reached Megaplaza, the road was an ankle-deep stream. I ran wetting my Kickers and pants, making sure that my new iPod remains in a cool dry place. I entered the lobby and managed to reach the elevator in time. Then, after the shaft left the 26th or so floor (my destination is 36th), a first time for me, the lights went out, the carrier stopped. I said “shit” four times. Then the lights came on again. The lady beside kept staring at me, awkwardly and obviously, until she stepped out at 34th.

Naexcite ako sa iPod, and I wanted to stick it to my desktop right away. I immediately turned on my pc, and after logging in, the lights went out again. Suck.

The electricity came back up after two hours, I think. Here’s what I did during that two-hour black out:
1. Stood by the window and tried to take a shot of lightning with my Ixus until the battery ran out.
2. Then using the phone, I took pictures of my face (na inilawan ng kandila).
3. Took a shower.
4. Sang a Rascal Flatts song (rinecord ko rin sa phone, gusto ko lang marinig).
5. Deleted all recorded sounds from my phone.
6. Ate a bowl of nuts.
7. Read some work-related file I took home .
8. Ate another bowl of nuts (ang tagal ng ilaw).
9. Sat, and prayed.
10. Then the lights went on. Amen.

So, after the long wait, I was able to setup my iPod. =)

the third

Just got back from watching Shrek the Third with my cousins. The movie. Good enough, there’s really not much to laugh about if you’ve seen the trailer already. Still great though.

Earlier today (after a half day work, that is), I fetched my cousin Queenie at SM North. After a 15-minute (I think) MRT ride, I had to walk (for another 15 minutes, I think) from the station to SM North. We ate lunch at The Block, Teriyaki Boy. We had some Ebi Tempura, Gyoza and some maki.

Then we went to National Bookstore to buy some notebooks.

Then we went to Watson’s to buy shampoo, toothbrush, OraCare and lotion.

Then we went home. The taxi driver asked if we are willing to pay additional 20 pesos for the ride (kasi traffic daw). The meter read 115 when we arrived at Ortigas. I paid him 140. Traffic nga.

Then my cousin, Queenie, ym-ed with our cousin, Lyra who is in London.

Then Queenie’s older brother arrived and we went to eat dinner at Max’s. We had chicken, of course. And sinigang na baboy din pala.

Then we went to see Shrek the Third.

Time for bed. Sleepy. Need. To. Sleep. Zzzzz.

shirtless

Sa init ng panahon ngayon, I now sleep without a shirt on despite constant reminders from my mom that I could get sick sleeping half naked. We do not turn on the aircon to somehow cut a bit off from our monthly expenses (for me, that includes credit card, phone, dsl bills, rent, food, fare — now I’m depressed). It’s almost time again for bill payments. I have been working for almost three years now and the only savings I have include a couple Sola bottles of 5 and 10 peso coins (I wonder how much they amount to?).

Other anticipated expenses include insurance payments, gym membership (mine expires next month) and the Bohol trip I’ll be taking with some friends.

Anyway, it’s so annoying that I always have a hard time uploading photos in flickr, multiply (how about everywhere?!).

Listen to this: Walter Reed by Michael Penn
I heard this from one of the episodes of House and I just had to download it. Mahina nga lang audio ng copy ko. Sucks no?

anything with blue sky

is peaceful (see header image)… I just had to post it. I really need to go to bed now.

Still conversing with a classmate back in college about a mission she failed to accomplish. Heartaches, heartaches. When you’ve nothing to say, repeat them words. It’s cool.

5 minutes to midnight

1. My eyes ache from staring so long at the screen monitor.
2. The lights were dimmed and the idol season 6 winner has just been announced.
3. I really need to pee.
4. I have a funny taste in my mouth.
5. I’ve got to wake up early tomorrow for a quick cardio.
6. Two minutes to midnight.
7. I need to buy a computer table.
8. My back aches
9. 1 minute past midnight.
10. Night.

banana!

The title does not have anything to do whatsoever with what this post contains. It’s just a line from one of a couple condom ads I always see on tv, the one that is less weird that does not have condom mascots.

Yet again, another attempt at aimless writing. I had set up several blogs before with each of them having one or two posts, lame posts they totally suck. A waste of internet space, not that anybody cares. I will try to blog (with every sense of the word, whatever it is) this time.

I guess I’ve written enough words already for an initial post. So, banana!
