I felt sick and tired and sleepy and eventually dumb the whole day. I may have slept for more than an hour in the office, i’m not sure. I ate lunch at my seat to fill in the minutes I spent snoring. I didn’t talk much. I wasn’t in the mood to do anything, but I managed to do what I had to do.
I logged out a few minutes before 6 pm. Hmmm, I think I forgot to logout. Anyway, I walked from the office to Megamall to fetch my cellphone I had repaired at some shop (2 months na yun dun and ngayon lang sya naayos). Suck.
So I finally got my cellphone back, although I will not be using it anymore because I bought myself a better one last week. And then, I passed by the Apple shop then (after convincing myself that at least I felt a little hesitation) I went in, and bought myself an iPod. Suck.
It was almost 07.30 pm when I left the mall. It was raining, and I had to wait for another 30 minutes for a ride to Robinson’s. The harder the fx crawled its way to Robinson’s the harder the rain poured that by the time it reached Megaplaza, the road was an ankle-deep stream. I ran wetting my Kickers and pants, making sure that my new iPod remains in a cool dry place. I entered the lobby and managed to reach the elevator in time. Then, after the shaft left the 26th or so floor (my destination is 36th), a first time for me, the lights went out, the carrier stopped. I said “shit” four times. Then the lights came on again. The lady beside kept staring at me, awkwardly and obviously, until she stepped out at 34th.
Naexcite ako sa iPod, and I wanted to stick it to my desktop right away. I immediately turned on my pc, and after logging in, the lights went out again. Suck.

The electricity came back up after two hours, I think. Here’s what I did during that two-hour black out:
1. Stood by the window and tried to take a shot of lightning with my Ixus until the battery ran out.
2. Then using the phone, I took pictures of my face (na inilawan ng kandila).
3. Took a shower.
4. Sang a Rascal Flatts song (rinecord ko rin sa phone, gusto ko lang marinig).
5. Deleted all recorded sounds from my phone.
6. Ate a bowl of nuts.
7. Read some work-related file I took home .
8. Ate another bowl of nuts (ang tagal ng ilaw).
9. Sat, and prayed.
10. Then the lights went on. Amen.
So, after the long wait, I was able to setup my iPod. =)
